2023 KNIGHTS CHAPTER DINNER

The Chapter Dinner took place on Saturday 16th

of September at the Admiral Wells in Holme.

It was a well attended event organised by Bro. Martyn

Sharp assisted by Bro. Tony Carpenter who conducted the

Raffle. Martyn presented the President's Buffess with a

beautiful bouquet and thanked everyone who attended.

On the 16th February, Bro. Malcolm Shirley, CP,

was raised to the Third Degree.

The Installation was conducted by, Bro. Rod McGregor ROH supported by the Knights Chapter President, Bro. Steve Jones ROH, PPGP 2012, the Director of Ceremonies, Bro. Roy Grundy KOM and the Officers of the Knights Chapter No 220.

2019 KNIGHTS CHAPTER DINNER

The Dinner took place at the Newark Hotel, on Saturday 12th of October. Well done to Martyn Sharp for organising, once again, an excellent evening and thanks to all the Chapter Members for their attendance and support. Thanks also to Bob Buff for the “Chuffing Eck” and Roy Bell for the “Irish Bingo”. Below are ‘action shots’ from the exiting Chuffing Eck.

THIRD DEGREE RAISINGS 2018

On Sunday the 2nd of September, Bro. Mike Ansell of the Valiant Lodge was raised to the Third Degree. The Ceremony was conducted by Bro. Bob Benjamin, ROH, ably assisted by the Knights Chapter Director of Ceremony, Bro. Ken Graham, KOM.

On Thursday 6th of September, Bro. Sam Fishburn of the Queen Elizabeth Lodge was raised to the Third Degree. The ceremony was conducted by Bro. Dave Spencer, ROH, PPGP ably assisted by the Director of Ceremony for the evening, Bro. John Dudley, KOM, the Immediate PPGP. 

THIRD DEGREE RAISINGS 2017

Bro. Paul Knighton, KOM, was raised to the Third Degree on Tuesday the 24th of October at the Willoughby Lodge in Bourne. The Ceremony was conducted by Bro. Bob Salmon, ROH, ably assisted by Director of Ceremonies, Bro. Roddy Woodthorpe, ROH.

Bro. Neil Mathews, KOM, was raised to the Third Degree on Tuesday the 26th of September at the Willoughby Lodge in Bourne. The Ceremony was conducted by Bro. Bob Salmon ROH.

Bro. Ken Graham, KOM, was Raised to the Third Degree on Tuesday 29th of August at the RAOB Club in Bourne. A superb Ceremony was conducted by the Installing Officer, Bro. Keith Mitchell, ROH, ably assisted by Bro. John Dudley, KOM, the Knights Chapter Director of Ceremonies who in turn was supported by the Officers of the Peterborough and District Knights Chapter.

Third Degree Raising

Bro. Gerry Wood KOM, of the Locomotive Lodge, was raised to the Third Degree on Thursday 7th May 2015 at the Brazza Club in March. The Installing Officer was Bro. Alan Norris ROH assisted by the Knights Chapter Director of Ceremonies Bro. Malcolm Dew KOM and the Officers of the Peterborough and District Knights Chapter No. 220.

Third Degree Raising

Bro. John Dudley CP, of the Valiant Lodge, was Installed to the Third Degree on Sunday 22nd of February 2015 at the Wittering Sports and Social Club. The Installing Officer was the Knights Chapter President, Bro. Terry Collingwood ROH, PPGP ably assisted by the Knight Director of Ceremonies, Bro. Malcolm Dew KOM, and the Officers of the Peterborough and District Knights Chapter No. 220.

There was superb turn out with ten Grand Lodge Officers in attendance including the 2014 Grand Primo Bro. Toby Foot ROH.

Third Degree Raisings

Fourth Degree Raising

Bro. Steve Jones, KOM PPGP 2012, of the Eastgate Lodge 6393, was Raised to the Fourth Degree on Friday 29th of August. The Exalting Officer was Bro. Werner Dukamp ROH, PPGP, the President of the Peterborough and District Roll of Honour Assembly 135, ably assisted by the Director of Ceremonies, Bro. Tony Carpenter ROH. Brother Steve was presented with a Sash, Collar, Cuffs, Apron and Baton by the Brothers of the Eastgate Lodge.

Bro. G.M. Dew CP of the Cecil Lodge 2624, was raised to the Third Degree on Wednesday October 10th 2012 at the Cummins Social Club, Wharf Road, Stamford. The Installing Officer was Bro. Martyn Sharp ROH. Knights Chapter President 2008.

Brother Malcolm Brock of the Valiant Lodge was Raised to the Third Degree on Sunday the 3rd of July 2011 at Wittering Village Club. Bro. Rickie Davey ROH conducted an excellent Ceremony before a magnificent turn out from the Valiant Lodge, the Province and many visiting Brothers. 

 2010 Chapter Dinner

 The 2010 Chapter Dinner was held in the Newark Hotel on Saturday 13th November. Once again we enjoyed an excellent meal and good company, with a Raffle, "Chuffin' Eck" and Irish Bingo. Well done to Bob Buff and Martyn Sharp.

On the 28th of July 2010, Bro. Colin was presented with his Third Degree Emblem by The Worthy Primo, Bro. Steve Jones KOM.

Nine Members of The Knights' Chapter visited The No 1 Knights' Chapter in Nottingham on Sunday 7th of February 2010. The occasion was the Celebration of their 100th Anniversary, the event was well attended, with Brothers present from Chapters far and wide. The Grand Primo Bro. Hayden Bennett ROH assisted with the presentation of gifts to the Brothers of the Nottigham Knights Chapter No 1. 

The 2009 Annual Chapter Dinner took place on Friday 13th of November at the Newark Hotel.

Bro. David Francis Weldon of the Queen Elizabeth Lodge was Raised to the Third Degree on Thursday 17th September 2009 at the White Horse Public House, Church Street, Market Deeping. The Installing Officer was the Knights Chapter President, Bro. Roddy Woodthorpe ROH, PPGP for 2005.

Bro. Graham Holliday of the Valiant Lodge was Raised to the Third Degree on Sunday 22nd March 2009 in the Wittering Village Hall. The Installing Officer was Bro. Tony Hallam ROH, the Provincial Grand Secretary & Past President of Knights Chapter (1991).

Bro. Steve Jones of the Eastgate Lodge 6393 was Raised to the Third Degree on Sunday 30th November 2008 at the Farcet Village Club. Bro. Martyn Sharp ROH, the Knights Chapter President, was the Installing Officer, ably assisted by the Officers of Knights Chapter.

2008 Combined Chapters Meeting hosted by the Peterborough Province took place on Sunday the 14th of September 2008, at the Lakeside Bar & Restaurant, Tallington Lakes, Stamford.

Bro. Charlie Charlesworth of the Queen Elizabeth Lodge 7081 was Raised to the Third Degree on Thursday 17th July 2008 at the White Horse, Market Deeping. The Installing Officer was the PGP, Bro. Pete Carnell KOM



Bro. Alan Brown of the Queen Elizabeth Lodge 7081 was Raised to the Third Degree on Thursday 5th June 2008 at the Farcet Village Club. The Installing Officer was Bro. Roddy Woodthorpe ROH

Bro. Chaz Fenner of the Eastgate Lodge 6393 was Raised to the Third Degree on Sunday 25th May 2008 at the Farcet Village Club. The Installing Officer was the Knights Chapter President, Bro. Martyn Sharp ROH assisted by the Officers of Knights Chapter.
